Gasifier

The manure is fed into a gasifier where it is heated to high temperatures using extremely low amounts of oxygen.

Almost Free Heat

A million of the 5 million BTU’s generated are used to heat one of the coops or barns.

Biochar

The heating process produces as much as 9,000 pounds of biochar per day, a charcoal-like substance with environmental benefits.

Carbon Storage

The carbon contained in the biochar stays in the soil up to 100 times longer than unprocessed materials.
